21st May marks Endangered Species Day – a day to highlight the threats thousands of different species of animals, insects, flowers and plants, and other creatures face. If you are an educator or a parent looking for ideas or activities you can do with your children, check out our suggestions below. We have carefully selected activities with EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in mind with our in-house Early Years specialist. Through these activities children will learn all about endangered species and animals, while strengthening their learning, knowledge and development in other areas of the EYFS and primary curriculum.

The 10 Best Museums for Children in the UK

Museums are brilliant, fun and educational institutions that enable people of all ages to immerse themselves in rich history and culture. As lockdown restrictions ease, museums across the UK get ready to re-open. In response to this, we decided to compile a list of 10 of our favourite museums for young children, from EYFS to KS1 and KS2. It also coincides with International Museum Day on 18th May 2021, which aims to promote the existence of museums around the world and the hands-on historical and cultural learning experiences they offer.
